Course overview
The Tech eChallenge (Advanced) embraces technology innovation and with the emphasis on product or service design leveraging technology. The development of a prototype that has market relevance for different streams including not limited to EdTech, AgTech, MedTech, DeepTech and FinTech. Receiving instruction and guidance from experienced mentors, underpinned by theory, students develop prototypes that address a market need and then present these to a panel of industry judges where they receive feedback about their innovations.

Course learning outcomes
- Identify and critically evaluate potential entrepreneurial opportunity by applying the Jobs to Be Done framework to systematically uncover an unmet need in the market.
- Develop a Prototype to satisfy the market needs leveraging enabling technologies.
- Build an effective entrepreneurial team to develop strategies to exploit the entrepreneurial opportunity.
- Communicate and present the new entrepreneurial venture to persuade relevant stakeholders including investors.
