Course overview
The Wine and Food Business Project is the capstone experience for the degree. The course provides graduate students with the opportunity to undertake a supervised research project on a relevant wine and food business topic. The wine and food project will be theoretically oriented and can have an industry focus. In Part A, students will have the opportunity to scope an independent research project, conduct a literature review and develop a research design to address their research objectives.(Wine and Food Business Project Part A and Part B must be undertaken in consecutive study periods and a passing grade is required in Part A before continuing in Part B).
Course learning outcomes
- Identify, justify and scope contemporary business research problems, issues or opportunities worthy of investigation
- Critically review and synthesise literature with regard to a contemporary wine and food business problem or opportunity
- Interpret, evaluate, and select appropriate data collection methods and approaches
- Fulfil the requirements for conducting research in a professional and ethical manner
