Course overview
This course delineates and defines the roles and functions of operations management within the context of supply chain management. All organisations whether in the manufacturing or service industry or profit or not-for-profit business are part of many supply chains in todays interconnected world and need to apply appropriate concepts of operations management to be effective and efficient. In this course, students advance their theoretical knowledge and adopt an integrated approach towards operations in supply chains, investigate areas of systems analysis and apply learned methods in operations management for a supply chain.
