Course overview
Effective logistics and supply chain management are crucial components of today's competitive global businesses. Studying this course greatly enhances students’ professional management knowledge and skills. This is especially important now, given the economic challenges most economies and organisations are facing. Hence, the aim of this course is to provide students with an advanced and integrated understanding of the role and importance of logistics, including supply chain management, in the organisation and the economy. This course enables students to discern how logistics operations are part of an integrated system and how these operations become more competitive. Students are assessed through an essay, a report, presentation and contribution.
