Course overview
This course will develop students' skills through participation in cross-cultural teams and presentation of a case for a business idea that has social benefit. Social enterprises; understanding the business environment; writing a business case; developing business ideas; assessing social benefits; analysing the market; assessing competitors; marketing a product; cost-benefit analysis; budgeting; risk assessment; presentation skills and pitching business ideas in a professional setting.

- Critically evaluate different business strategies and approaches.
- Review and integrate ideas from a range of business disciplines, including accounting, marketing and strategy, into a business case.
- Persuasively communicate orally and in writing the analytical results, strategic options and recommendations of a business idea.
