Course overview
This course will provide students with advanced knowledge in respect to portfolio and program management as applied in professional practice. Students will study advanced topics of portfolio and program management, including: inter-relationships between portfolio, program, project, and organisational management; portfolio and program lifecycle and performance domains; portfolio and program strategy alignment; portfolio value management and program benefits management; portfolio and program stakeholder engagement and governance; roles of the PMO, portfolio and program managers in maintaining a portfolio of projects aligned with the organisational objectives.

- Demonstrate an advanced understanding of knowledge that includes recent, global developments within the field of portfolio and program management and its application in professional practice.
- Investigate, analyse and synthesise complex information, problems, concepts and theories and to apply established theories to portfolio and program management practice.
