Course overview

The aim of this course is to identify a problem, develop the strategic case for digital change, identify impacted stakeholders and define a change management strategy. From Disruption to Transformation, Creating New Business Models, Pivoting the Organisation to the Future (2 weeks), The Intelligent Enterprise, Stakeholder Identification and Management, Defining the Change Strategy, Managing Change, Risk and Contingency Planning

Course learning outcomes

  • Evaluate how previous technological innovations have impacted organisation's operating models, employees and wider society.
  • Appraise the potential disruption to an organisation from new digital technology trends and innovations.
  • Compose and assess the actions that organisations can take to leverage digital to create and sustain competitive advantage and operational excellence.
  • Investigate a business challenge and develop a strategic case to convince stakeholders of the need to adopt a new digital solution, including analysing the need, appraising different solution options and recommending a preferred solution.
  • Design a change management strategy for impacted stakeholders, and propose actions that could be taken to mitigate the impact of the changes.
