The aim of this course is to research, analyse, make judgements and communicate advice on the use of digital technologies in business and their potential to disrupt different industries. Introduction to Digital Disruption, Blockchain, Automation, Internet of Things (IoT), Extended Reality (XR), 5G

Course learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate the potential of a selection of digital technologies to transform industries.
  • Evaluate the use of digital technologies within organisations and their impact on employees, customers and broader society.
  • Critically analyse the use of digital technology to address business challenges.
  • Judge the disruptions that a digital technology could have on future business, and the necessary adaptation required.
  • Synthesize and communicate the characteristics and opportunities of the featured technologies to strengthen business performance.
