Course learning outcomes

  • Critically reflect on the theoretical and practice-based theories of ethics, sustainability, and governance, and the impacts these have on management and leadership.
  • Identify and analyse ethical issues and apply appropriate knowledge and problem-solving skills to recommend solutions for such issues.
  • Investigate social and environmental sustainability issues and propose sustainable business practices.
  • Critically review cross-cultural issues, their implications on business, and develop competencies to recommend strategies including Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Apply principles of corporate governance to organisational management and leadership in the context of sustainability in business environments.
