Course overview
The aim of this course is to critically analyse and develop a strategic response to the issues related to procurement within public and private organisations. This course investigates the nature of strategic procurement in both the public and private sectors and gives students the opportunity to challenge their understanding of the position of procurement within an organisation. It provides students the opportunity to discuss the issues arising and explore the differences between public and private sector procurement in relation to various topics. Students are assessed through a critical analysis and report.

- Develop a strategic sourcing plan for manufacturing and service operations that addresses a complex supply management problem.
