Course overview
This course provides students with fundamental concepts and latest developments in digital tools and technologies in supply chains. It develops their knowledge of digital supply chains, including the digitalization of manufacturing, warehousing, logistics and procurement as well as the performance of the system. In this course, the effects of digitalization on supply chain operations are studied to give students a fuller understanding of the dynamics and factors involved in the emergence and growth of digital supply chains. This course also investigates the opportunities and challenges of managing digital supply chains in today’s highly competitive global business environment. Students are assessed through a case study, presentation and report.
