Course overview

The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire knowledge of the international operations and activities across firms in the supply chain; how effective and efficient supply chain management practices can enhance and impact global competitiveness. Organisations are increasingly recognising the strategic opportunities of their supply chains as a means to achieving competitive advantage. As firms operate in global economies, we no longer see firms competing at the organisational level, but at the supply chain level. This course equips students with the knowledge and expertise in managing supply chains with the purpose of achieving superior performance.
