Course overview
This course will enable students to understand the science and, economics, of business and climate change. Students will examine the risks and opportunities that climate change presents to businesses and develop decarbonisation strategies. Through case studies, discussions, and practical assignments, students will learn how to integrate climate change considerations into corporate strategy and decision-making processes. The course will help students understand how to measure and reduce emissions across the value chain while avoiding greenwashing. The course will also enable an understanding of the benefits and challenges of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) investing.
