Course overview
This course will enable students to gain experience in research and equip them with knowledge and skills in preparation for potential further higher degree in research studies. This course provides students with the opportunity to undertake a structured research project under the supervision of an academic staff member. The research topic shall be negotiated between the student and potential supervisor. It is expected that the research domain shall be a business discipline including Applied Economics, Finance, Property Management, Accounting, Marketing, This course willurism, Arts and Cultural, Human Resource Management, Sports Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Course learning outcomes
- Develop skills to design, conduct and report a research project.
- Critically review relevant literature and develop skills to write a scholarly literature review.
- Identify and apply appropriate research method(s) for the negotiated project.
- Develop writing skills for academic research.
