Course overview
This course promotes an in-depth understanding of sustainability and its effect on the supply chain. It equips students with the critical strategic, managerial and ethical perspectives for developing, implementing and addressing environmental, social and economic value in the context of global supply chain operations.
Course learning outcomes
- Examine economic, environmental and social value in terms of sustainability standards, practices and issues associated with supply chain operations with readings and class activities around the topics by completing the core requirements of this course learning outcome in an essay and examination
- Analyse sustainability planning and decision-making situations faced by managers in a global context and how they affect the supply chain with readings and class activities around the topics by completing the core requirements of this course learning outcome in an essay and examination
