Course overview

This course provides students with the foundations to procurement based on the various concepts, activities, technologies and processes involved within and among organisations for creating value and better market position; as well as relationships with stakeholders and supply chain partners. In this course, students develop their knowledge of the role of procurement in supply chains as well as the significance of procurement and supply chain management to the overall efficiency and success of organisations in todays highly competitive global business milieu. Students are assessed through an essay, a case study and presentation.
