  • To apply analytical techniques to the solution of structural problems
  • To describe how materials used will affect the behaviour of simple and complex structures
  • To demonstrate and apply knowledge of materials in the analysis of structural problems
  • To communicate effectively in oral, written and graphical formats incorporating relevant information
