Course learning outcomes
- Critically review the duties of a professional quantity surveyor in pre and post contract procedures and cost management services for complex projects.
- Synthesize knowledge in the preparation of international cost planning and processes in the value management services for complex projects.
- Apply the whole of life costing techniques for the choice of materials and building systems for sustainable developments.
- Evaluate the principles of relational contracting and private finance initiatives for infrastructure developments.
- Reflect intellectual interest and professional ethics as a quantity surveying professional in a lifelong learning environment.
