Course overview

To utilise learning from all previous study in the program in a professional environment with guidance and assessment, and prepare the student for professional life by increasing their awareness of their own learning and the need for continuing professional and personal development. To recognise and assess student engagement and industrial experience through the Professional Practice Program required for future roles as qualified Construction Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Building Surveyors and more.

Course learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate identify and reflect on a range of technical and management skills and knowledge needed to function as a professional in the construction industry
  • Apply principles of construction management and program learning to real world solutions and evaluate results
  • Demonstrate capacity to contribute to and work within an organisation at a professional level, taking responsibility for delegated project tasks in an accountable and ethical way
  • Engage in independent, collaborative, and reflective learning towards building professional identity and develop and reflect on career goals
