Course overview
This course provides advanced genetics practical skills to accompany topics explored in Genetics 3A.
Course learning outcomes
- Carry out hands-on practical experimental skills and techniques and/or computer analysis approaches applicable to genetic research
- Interpret and present experimental findings in various formats
- Apply skills in experimental design to critically evaluation examples and/or design experiments to address complex genetic questions
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment, demonstrating effective communication, project management, and problem-solving skills to achieve common goals
- Perform laboratory techniques safely and according to legislative requirements
