Course overview
The aim of this course is to provide a research or industry related experience that broadens the student's perspective and develops a vocational focus towards a career specialty of interest to the student. Completion of either a placement within a relevant industry/institution or an industry focused research project undertaken under the supervision of an academic member of staff.
Course learning outcomes
- Work independently and/or within a team within a Pharmaceutical/BioMedical/Science Industry/Research Laboratory setting
- Demonstrate ethical and safe work practices.
- Interact with professionals within the Industry.
- Produce high quality written reports and seminar presentations.
