Course overview

This course aims to extend the discussions presented in the Biochemistry Level 2 and 3 courses to provide advanced laboratory skills in Biochemistry.

Course learning outcomes

  • Demonstrate hands-on practical experimental skills and techniques frequently used in biomedical research, as it relates to biochemistry
  • Demonstrate essential skills in experimental design, results, analysis and problem solving
  • Demonstrate appropriate application of computer-based tools to investigate biochemical research questions
