Course overview
This course provides urban planning learners with specialised practical expertise to apply to their discipline knowledge and skills within a work integrated learning environment, to compile the outcomes of that experience as a professional and transferable product, and critically reflect upon their experience.
Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate skills and knowledge of urban planning acquired at university into a professional setting
- Perform selected tasks, including the use of applications, at an advanced level consistent within urban planning practice in a professional setting
- Demonstrate increased understanding of the social and ethical role of the urban planning professional in practice
- Communicate with increasing confidence and efficacy in a professional setting
