Course overview
The aim of this course is to equip learners with the skills and knowledge to conduct and write development assessment reports within the planning regulatory system in South Australia and be able to adapt that learning to other national and international jurisdictions. The course delves into logic of development assessment steps and the procedures for determining a proposed development’s suitability in terms of endorsed policy outcomes and the public interest. This includes awareness of the parameters and discretion to achieve good development outcomes based on merit.
