Course overview

Landscape Construction Technology aims to develop skills in analysing and designing construction details to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of landscape spaces. Through case studies and focused design exercises, students will learn to apply construction and technological principles to the design of landscape spaces. The course plan covers knowledge on construction materials and details, documentation techniques, and technological innovations integral to contemporary landscape architecture. By the end of the course, students are expected to demonstrate their ability to design landscape construction details that effectively integrate contemporary aesthetics, current technology, and environmentally sensitive outcomes.
