Course overview
This course aims to equip learners with advanced knowledge of how construction technologies are used to generate complex design solutions. The course will explore the design development for a multi-storey building, focusing on the relationship between structure, envelope, and building services. Learners will work collaboratively in groups with industry consultants to understand the complex team structures involved in the delivery of buildings. They will design and produce construction documentation for a project in line with relevant industry codes and standards. This course aligns with the program intent to apply advanced disciplinary and contextual knowledge in the development of architectural projects.
