Course overview
This course will extend students' historical and cultural knowledge within a regional, national or international context through participation in a study tour. Students will undertake a supervised study tour to explore the social, cultural, historical, political, economic and other relevant characteristics of the location visited, and identify issues related to their discipline area in historical and contemporary contexts. The nature of the content will vary according to the disciplinary mix of participating students and the specific characteristics of the location.

- Articulate cultural aspects and contexts in the discipline area
- Identify issues which influence practices and outcomes in local and global contexts through direct experience in the study tour
- Synthesise and communicate knowledge gained through coherent documentation
