Course overview

The aim of this course is to introduce students to a range of research practices and methods necessary to develop and commence an independent research project in interior architecture.

Course learning outcomes

  • Investigate and demonstrate contextual research for design appropriate to an independent or set project
  • Critically reflect on problem solving research by and for design
  • Demonstrate practice and project management to a professional level
  • Communicate the design stages and final design visually and verbally to a range of audiences to a professional level
