Course overview

This course will extend students' knowledge of commercial interior design and the current environmental and regulatory issues in professional design practice through the application of a range of design processes, strategies and practices to a variety of commercial interior architecture projects. Students will expand their knowledge in the research and application of services, technologies and workplace fitouts to commercial design. Students will build knowledge in human environments; spatial planning and ergonomics; scale, materiality, detailing and lighting; acoustics and colour.
