Course learning outcomes
- Demonstrate understanding by being able to analyse and synthesise the geographic, economic, and political context of urban and regional development in Australia and globally.
- Demonstrate understanding by being able to analyse and synthesise urban economic theory.
- Demonstrate an ability to assemble, analyse and synthesise relevant information to solve a coherent planning problem or planning issue/s.
- Present an individual report with policy recommendations for a planning problem in Australia.
- Describe the key economic determinants of land use and city size.

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
