Course overview

Industrial Design Studio 4b (Production and Sustainability) aims to build on students' skills in designing and prototyping products for low volume manufacturing with a focus on sustainability. The course covers sustainable design principles, materials selection, and production techniques for small-scale manufacturing. Students will gain practical experience in creating environmentally responsible products, integrating theoretical knowledge with hands-on practice. This course encourages initiative in problem-solving and promotes adaptability and ethical accountability in professional industrial design practice.
