Course overview

This course will develop students' knowledge of materials and technologies required for the design, detailing, documentation, and fabrication of buildings of varying scales and complexities on a construction site.

Course learning outcomes

  • Analyse site set-out strategies for varying stages of construction through set-out drawings and use of set-out tools
  • Analyse prefabricated building components and technologies in relation to their environmental design impacts
  • Analyse prefabricated building components and technologies in relation to their cultural impacts
