Course overview
This course aims to broaden and deepen students’ scientific skillset through critical engagement with a diverse range of research-related tasks, including analysis and communication of technical and analytical processes relevant to Animal Sciences. Through critical analysis, synthesis, and translation, students will explore how scientific knowledge and processes are constructed, interpreted, and shared. This approach fosters versatility in scientific reasoning, strengthened capacity to communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, and awareness of the broader contexts in which Animal Sciences operates.
Course learning outcomes
- Critically evaluate and summarise scientific research within the field of Animal Sciences.
- Critically analyse and communicate technical and analytical processes relevant to Animal Sciences, demonstrating the ability to produce clear, accurate, and professional technical documentation and reports.
