This course provides research experience and industry insights in animal behaviour through coursework and work integrated components.

Course learning outcomes

  • Identify personal abilities, knowledge and skills and how they contribute to your employability attributes in the area of animal behaviour
  • Use experimental design and animal behaviour knowledge to develop a research project
  • Use data collection and analysis skills to conduct a research project investigating an animal behaviour topic
  • Use writing and communication skills to provide reports and presentations in line with current professional standards
  • Reflect and evaluate on the animal behaviour workplace experiences as well as how they might contribute to future employment

  • must have completed all of ANIM1000 Animal Handling and Husbandry/ANIM2013 Foundations in Animal Behaviour 2/ANIM3004 Research Methodology for Animal Science 3
