Course overview
This course is designed to give students a broad understanding of conducting business in a global world with a focus on accounting and finance issues. Using a blend of formal study and experiential learning students will participate in a number of seminars, workshops and industry visits. Over a three week period students will visit countries such as Germany, France and the United Kingdom. Seminars and industry visits will change from tour-to-tour but will typically cover topics such as international business and cultural issues, negotiation and decision making, and taxation across multiple countries. Visits to various organisations will give students an awareness and insight into differ industries and cutting-edge practices. Visits may include a car manufacturer, winery, European Parliament, Oxford University, and the IFRS Foundation (International Financial Reporting Standards). A typical day consists of a seminar with a partner university in the morning and an industry visit in the afternoon. Students are expected to actively participate in all seminars, industry visits and cultural activities on tour. In addition there are two pre-departure seminars that students must attend.

If you are an international student, or a domestic student studying in a full fee paying place, and are continuing study that you commenced in 2025 or earlier, your fees will be available here before enrolments open for 2026.
