Course overview
This course will develop applied research skills through the analysis of accounting information, as well as drawing from finance and industry information to produce a professionally orientated research project.
Course learning outcomes
- Integrate advanced theoretical and technical knowledge of financial analysis and related areas
- Apply advanced technical knowledge and skills to critically analyse financial data to investigate problems in accounting or finance contexts
- Select and use information from data bases used in accounting and finance
- Design and execute research in collaboration with others
- Communicate research findings to specialist and non-specialist
