Your student visa requires that you have adequate Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) while you are studying in Australia. As a full-fee paying overseas student, your original tuition fees will have included an additional charge for visa length OSHC.
OSHC covers the cost of hospital and out-of-hospital medical treatments (such as a visit to your GP), some pharmaceuticals, and emergency ambulance services while you are in Australia.
