Peer Learning at Adelaide University
Peer Learning at Adelaide University provides opportunities for students to learn from experienced students and from others in their cohorts. Students who learn from and with their peers develop increased confidence and sense of belonging which enhances their academic, social and personal success at university. Our programs are primarily focused on first year or transitioning students to help you settle into the university community and equip you with the skills you need to be successful in your studies.
PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions)
PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) is a student-led program that aims to help students to understand and apply key concepts in their courses, supporting them to achieve their best possible academic results.
Sessions are facilitated by experienced students who have excelled in the most challenging courses. These PASS leaders run 50-minute study sessions, designed to help you discuss and practice key concepts and skills, check your understanding of course and assessment expectations, and build successful study habits in a friendly, casual environment.
PASS runs weekly from week 2 of Semester 1 and 2, running alongside your courses, with Exam Buster course revision sessions during Week 13/SWOTVAC.
There is no need to enrol/register - come along to PASS anytime throughout the semester to study with your peers and benefit from the skills of leaders who understand the concepts and expectations of your courses.
