Professional Practice Program (PPP)

All Engineering (Postgraduate and Honours) students must complete at least 450 hours of engagement with professional practice to meet the requirements of their program. The College of Engineering & IT Professional Practice Program (PPP) has been designed to assist students to accumulate these hours, within a flexible and supported structure. Students can acquire their hours through a range of activities which include:

  • placements
  • internships
  • guest lectures
  • industry panels
  • study tours
  • site visits
  • hackathons
  • networking opportunities
  • professional industry events.

 
Students start accruing hours from their first year at university and are supported by the College WIL Team to strategically plan and manage the experiences to support their career ambitions.

Undergraduate Engineering

Students bring fresh thinking and practical skills to your organisation. They can contribute to complex or sensitive projects, support research and analysis, and apply creative problem-solving and professional expertise across a range of tasks.

Postgraduate Engineering
