Enrolling at Adelaide University

Enrolling at Adelaide University

This page provides enrolment advice, outlines the steps to help you enrol correctly and prepare for study. As a student, you’re responsible for managing your own enrolment and ensuring your selected courses meet the requirements of your degree.

When can I Enrol?

Transitioning students and new students who receive offers in October and November will be able to enrol progressively from 1 December 2025, with appointments released on a staggered basis. Your 2026 program-specific enrolment open date and time will be displayed on your myEnrolment home page.

Students who receive an offer via SATAC on 15 January will receive a Welcome email advising of their January enrolment open date and time.

Other new students will be able to enrol as soon as they receive their Welcome email. Your personal enrolment appointment will be displayed in myEnrolment.

Before you enrol

  • If you're new to the University, activate your student account in the Getting Started page for new students.
  • Login to the Student Portal with your student ID (e.g. a1234567). Click on the link for myEnrolment (Adelaide University’s online enrolment system).
  • Plan your timetable. Select the first step My Enrolment Advice to check your study plan or enrolment advice to see which courses you need to study. Check the timetable for your courses and record the classes that are best for you.
  • Complete your checklist. Before you can enrol you must complete the Checklist to confirm your personal details. You should do this before enrolments open so you are ready to go. A guide to completing your checklist can be found here.

Check whether your degree includes professional placements. If so, you may be required to obtain:

  • a police check
  • a clearance from the Department of Community and Social Inclusion
  • student registration with a professional board
  • a medical clearance or
  • any other type of security check.

Further information will be provided by your school prior to your placement.

Enrol in your courses

  • When enrolments open for your program access myEnrolment from the student portal and navigate to Manage my Enrolment. If you’re starting mid-year, enrol in courses for the second half of the academic year. Otherwise, we recommend enrolling in all required courses for the full year.
  • If you’re an international student, you are encouraged to enrol online before you arrive. If you are unable to enrol before you arrive, enrolment assistance is available during orientation. You must complete your enrolment before classes begin.
