Graduate Research & Innovation Training

The Graduate Research School partners with academic areas, administrative units and external training providers to offer a rich mix of development experiences. These are designed to help you:

Building Industry Connections

We are actively strengthening ties with industry partners, opening up opportunities for graduate researchers to engage with organisations and explore real-world applications of their research.

Graduate researchers can undertake a 3-month research internship with an industry partner – an invaluable opportunity to gain practical experience and expand professional networks. These internships are available across academic disciplines, with opportunities in businesses, government departments, NGOs, and advocacy groups, both within Australia and internationally.

Enhancing the Graduate Research experience

Throughout the year, we curate a calendar of activities designed to enrich the graduate research experience. These events bring graduate research students together, foster community and provide opportunities to celebrate achievements and share experiences.
