Vicki Mavrakis is the Institute Manager of the Waite Research Institute at Adelaide University, bringing over 25 years of experience across the food, wine and agribusiness sector. She combines senior leadership experience in government, research, and industry engagement with academic expertise in food systems and household food waste.
Vicki leads strategic planning, partnerships, communications, and institute operations, working closely with researchers, industry partners, and government to strengthen the impact and visibility of Waite-based science. She is passionate about enabling collaboration, supporting research excellence, and translating innovation into real-world outcomes.
