About me

I hold registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with postgraduate qualifications in perinatal mental health (Graduate Certificate in Midwifery), and primary maternity care (Master of Primary Maternity Care). I am a Lactation Consultant, and PhD candidate - currently exploring innovative interprofessional approach to advance breastfeeding as a public health priority, meeting national and global agendas and recommendations. I have a long-standing commitment to midwifery spanning over 20 years across public health, maternity clinical care, tertiary education and research, editorial and policy work, and regulation. At Adelaide University, I am a Lecturer in Midwifery and the Program Coordinator across the undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
