About me

Graduating from the University of South Australia (UniSA) with a Bachelor of Education, Philippa began her teaching career in Primary Schools. Completing 11 years of classroom practise within Government, Catholic and Independent schools, Philippa took up the opportunity to share her expertise with Preservice Teachers in a tutoring role at UniSA in 2013.  Realising her passion for working with Preservice Teachers and what her classroom experience could offer, Philippa quickly expanded her teaching across a variety of courses and programs.  Philippa’s passion for supporting Preservice Teachers with their placements has led to her working across multiple placement courses within a variety of education degrees, as well as on-going placement supervision and school engagement. With a keen interest in Humanities and Social Sciences, Philippa has worked with a variety of student cohorts within the learning area and is the current Executive Secretary of the HaSS Association Australia.
