About me

Associate Professor Mohi Ahmed has been educating the next generation of cyber leaders and researching to disrupt the cybercrime ecosystem. His research is based on three pillars: (1) Offensive Security & Ransomware Resilience, (2) Cyber Governance, and (3) Data Analytics. He is driven to ensure national security and safeguard critical infrastructures from cyber terrorists. Mohi secured several internal and external grants totalling more than $2 million and has been collaborating with academia and industry. He has been regularly invited to speak at international conferences, government agencies and public organisations. He regularly appears in national and international media (newspapers, radio, and TV), commenting on cyber issues, reaching a global audience of more than a billion people. His contributions, as published in The Conversation, have reached over one million readers worldwide.
