About me
Mark Charnley is the Director of Learning Futures at Adelaide University, with responsibility for the leadership and development of the University’s lifelong learning, industry engagement and non-award education portfolio.
Mark has more than 20 years’ experience across higher education, marketing and business development, working in senior roles within Australian and international universities and education-focused organisations.
His career has included appointments at the University of Adelaide, University of South Australia, Flinders University, and Carnegie Mellon University, where he has led marketing, recruitment, partnership development and portfolio growth activities across domestic and international markets.
His professional experience encompasses the development and execution of marketing and market-entry strategies, international partnership formation, industry engagement, and the management of revenue-generating education portfolios, including professional education, executive education and non-award programs.
Mark holds a Master of Marketing from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Management (Marketing) and Bachelor of Management (Operations Management) from the University of South Australia.
