Madhavee Mahinkanda is an academic professional specialising in Construction Management. With a robust academic background, she has completed her PhD at the University of South Australia, focusing on optimising design decisions to minimise construction waste. She is a Lecturer and Course Coordinator at Adelaide University, known for her exceptional teaching and research skills. Her teaching expertise spans various subjects, including Project Appraisal, Construction Planning and Safety, Construction Cost Planning, Building Estimating, Building Services, and general construction management and project management courses. Her research interests lie in sustainable construction, waste management, and value management, with numerous publications and conference presentations to her credit. Her professional journey includes pivotal roles as a lecturer at the University of Moratuwa in Sri Lanka and as a Quantity Surveyor in the industry, showcasing her practical experience and academic prowess.
