About me

Academic developer and lecturer with extensive experience in curriculum design, digital learning, and teaching in higher education. Advance HE Senior Fellow and holder of a PhD in Education, with a strong focus on research-informed practice and high-quality learning design. Strengths include academic development, assessment design, academic writing, and adult education across online and blended environments.

Eliani’s contributions have been recognised with a Dean's Award for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (Business School) and a DVCE Role Model Award for Educational Design at Monash University, celebrating her innovative approaches to enhancing student learning.

Works with academic staff to enhance curriculum quality, digital learning design, and research-informed teaching practice, with a focus on accessible and pedagogically sound program design aligned with institutional priorities. 

Experience includes work as an Online Learning Advisor at Queensland University of Technology, supporting online postgraduate units in the Graduate Certificate in Education (Innovative Learning Design) and the Master of Education. Previously held the role of Educational Designer at Monash University, supporting unit revitalisation, authentic assessment, and staff capability development. Earlier roles span higher education, VET, and community-based education, including work with Indigenous and remote communities.
