Dr Arjun Burlakoti, MBBS-Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, PhD-Med-Neurovascular
Anatomy and Pathology, a highly accomplished individual with an extensive
background in the field of Human Anatomy and Neuroanatomy. Currently serving as
a senior lecturer in Human Anatomy and Neuroanatomy at Adelaide University, South
Australia. Dr Burlakoti is a medical graduate with a background in general
surgery. He holds a PhD in Medicine (Neurovascular Anatomy and Pathology) from The University of Adelaide, South Australia. He is a member of the Australian New
Zealand Association of Clinical Anatomy (ANZACA) and the member of Global Community of Anatomical Science Educator
Network.
With over 20 years of experience in
teaching Anatomy, human biomechanics, clinical and whole-body gross and
sectional anatomy, and Neuroanatomy, Dr Burlakoti has shared his expertise in
various educational institutions and locations. These include Surgical
Department-Kathmandu Model Hospital (KMH), KMH
- School of Basic Sciences in Kathmandu, China's Weifang Medical University in Shandong, Northeast China, South Australian Institute of Business
and Technology, Adelaide Medical School (University of Adelaide), and the .University of South Australia and
Adelaide University (since July 2010-continuing).
Throughout his career, Dr Burlakoti has
received a few prizes, grants, and recognition for his work, including, The most Enthusiastic Staff Legacy End of ALH-UniSA Era Award, first prizes in teaching and the Shaping Australia Award within his own university, as well as nationally in Australia. He has
also been invited to deliver lectures and has made appearances on national and international television and
media news networks, where he has shared information regarding his academic and research contributions and publications.
One significant focus of Dr Burlakoti's
research has been the exploration of brain arterial network morphology, variations, asymmetries, and pathologies. Dr. Arjun Burlakoti's academic and research achievements highlight his
expertise in the field of Human Anatomy and Neuroanatomy, as well as his
dedication to teaching and advancing knowledge in these areas.
