Work with us

There are a number of ways you can get involved with the Theatre Guild.

Becoming a member, volunteering to help with our productions, or even directing your own show.

Get involved

  • Full annual membership: $60

Buy two together and save:

  • The right to vote at the AGM and to stand for election to the Board of Management

Not everyone is an actor. If you're enthusiastic, hardworking and would love to be involved with a community theatre group, there are many volunteering opportunities with the Theatre Guild.

You could be involved in:

  • Set design (set, sound, lighting)
  • Set construction (painting, carpentering, or general hand)
  • Operating (lights and sound)
  • Stage crew (work the shows)
  • Props (sourcing and managing)
  • Costumes
  • Front of House
  • Marketing
  • Photography
  • Fundraising
  • Sponsorship

Whatever your area of interest, there's bound to be something enjoyable to do with the Guild. All you need to do is ask our Administrator via email theatreguild@adelaide.edu.au.

All our volunteers receive a complimentary ticket to the production they assist with.

Adelaide University Students can put their volunteering hours with the Theatre Guild towards their Adelaide Graduate Award.

There are a number of exciting opportunities for all actors to be a part of the Theatre Guild.
